A. Should I plan on sleeping in ?- Definitely Not...unless you are not taking any excursions
- It may take 15 minutes to walk the length of the dock to the area where your bus, taxi, etc
- They normally leave around 9am...ship doors are opened at 8am
B. Do they feed you?
- Assume they do not....and bring something
- Check the excursion description to see if lunch is included or available for purchase...if not, you better bring a snack
C. How much do they cost?- Average adult price is about $60 per person. Child rates are approx 25% cheaper.
- Budget for the adult price as the age definition of child can be unexpected (e.g. older than 10 is an adult !!)
- If it sounds exotic, the price will align to the description.. (excluding golf at $189)
***St. Maarten - most expensive (scuba) = $90, least expensive (island tour) $22
***St. Thomas - most expensive(fishing) = $94, least expensive (butterflies) $15
D. How long are the excursions?
- on average, they are about 3.5 hours which includes travel time via bus, taxi, etc.
E. What about doing a non Cruise sanction excursion that I find on the internet?
- You can.....but...
*** you have no recourse if you are not satisfied with your adventure
*** if you miss the boat, you are on your own and Disney will not help you to get to the next port of call
F. Should I rent a car or scooter?
- my advice is NO....- they drive on the wrong side of the road !!
- you're only in port for 8 hours....let someone else drive and enjoy the scenary
- i believe you can rent a taxi for all day long for like $25....just do not pay them in full up front.
- Check that they speak English....Ask them how much snow they got last week....if they say Yes...take different one
